Another Great Annual Fishing Trip!

Kenny was on fire the entire trip!

For the past seven years, Kenny, Vince, and I have gone fishing at Crowley Lake near Mammoth in my small aluminum boat. It’s my favorite trip of the year. The reason is simple: Kenny and Vince are great company and always make the trip fun. We laugh the whole time. The food is always a highlight too, whether we’re eating at Mexican or pizza places in Mammoth, enjoying Vince’s amazing ribs and sides. And the fishing has been fantastic each trip. Honestly, I can’t think of a better way to spend four days.

Crowley Lake is big and home to three kinds of trout: rainbow, cutthroat, and the prized brown trout. We catch all three every year, but the brown trout always gets us the most excited. They’re usually bigger and truly beautiful. Most people Continue reading →

I Am a Drug Addict!

I admit it. I have been a drug addict for over fifty years, and I do not see any deliverance in sight. This drug affects my sleep, how often I take a piss, my mental alertness, and even my moods. Without it, I am a bastard to be around and get very little done. I have tried to curtail the intake of this drug, but it still haunts me daily. In fact, I am partaking in this drug as I write this essay.

When we moved into our new home, I had fun decorating my home office. I picked up some funny posters portraying Monty Python movies, Alfred E Newman for President, and Barney Fife as the Bloodhound of the Law.
